The jury is out in Seneca's trial... Nick ordered Sam to leave town, but before he did he broke Bucky's bubble by telling him the truth about Reenie; Bucky told Reenie it was all over... Delia informed Roger they could see each other only once or twice a week; for Roger, that won't be enough. Seneca was found not guilty on all charges except assault in the second degree. He didn't want to appeal... Mary's sister, Kathleen, arrived for the wedding... Roger didn't like it when he spotted Pat and Dee hugging innocently; neither did Jill when she saw Roger and Dee in a lovey scene. The big wedding: Jack got cold feet and went on a bender. John and Frank lugged him to the church... Jack reassured Mary, and they walked down the aisle... Seneca was sentenced to seven days in jail and two years' probation... The newlyweds honeymooned on a Mississippi riverboat. Jill, Roger, and Delia were on the outs over a necklace Roger had given Delia; it belonged to Jill's mother... Frak demanded an explanation; Dee lied. Faith returned to work but told Pat it's all over between them. Frank and Johnny didn't let on that they know the truth about Dee and Roger. Seneca faced the medical board. Frank walked in on Dee and Roger; then told her it's over. She ran to the family for sympathy. Pat defended her. Seneca's license was revoked. Jill invited him for a weekend in the country and told him about her past with Frank. Dee ran away with Little John to get Frank and the Ryans to forgive her. Roger had it out with Bob and Frank. Mary and Jack's honeymoon ended when Mary found out about the family trouble; Jack was peeved. Jill and Seneca grew closer as their weekend together continued.

Paul and Anne decided against abortion. Phil returned. David asked Ruth to move into his cottage. Ty beat up Estelle then threatened Lettie Jean, who squealed. Ty offered Donna the No. 1 spot in his stable; she agreed. Chuck was left to face Ty's boys. Mrs. Lum used a fake heart condition to keep Kitty. Chuck recuperated from his beating. Tara found out, blamed herself, and returned home. Linc admitted to Kitty he thought Mama Carpenter was a fake. Joe interrupted a chat between David and Ruth, then accused Ruth of using his office as a lovers' meeting place.

Larry told Victoria Joe must learn the truth about Megan now, but with Victor's death weighing on her, she was unable to force herself to tell Joe... Cathy pressed Tony about having a baby... The bereaved widow Dorian played the role fairly well... Then Tony accused her of killing his father. Everyone believed Dorian's explanation about what happened at the time of Victor's death -- except Tony, who wasn't invited to the funeral... Peter had been visiting Dorian bu the was in love with another widow, Jenny, whose sister Karen was coming to Llanview.
Victor's will is read. Victoria was sufficiently provided for, but Dorian was named executrix -- and Tony got zilch... Everybody urged Victoria to put up a fight; she doesn't want the responsibility.
Dorian offered Peter the job at the clinic instead of Larry... Joe defended Dorian to Tony, then later admitted it was a pose; he doesn't trust Dorian either... Cathy offered to pay Tony's loan. Cathy's whacky with fear that she can't have another child. Dorian's trying to steal Joe from Victoria. Pat's having nightmares about Tony. Newcomers in town: Jenny's sister Karen, who's on probation, and psychiatrist Will Vernon. Cathy grew more jealous of Victoria's pregnancy; Tony's fed up. Pat found out that Cathy knows that Brian is Tony's child. Jenny worried about Larry and Peter. Dorian beefed up plans to have Peter win the job. Cathy turned the tables on Pat by accusing her of trying to get Tony back. Dorian deliberately let it slip that Joe has a hereditary heart condition. He lashed out at Victoria for not telling him, then agreed to forgive her for the baby's sake. Karen's making eyes at Larry, who argued with Dorian about giving the job to Peter.

When Mrs. Clifford's tale didn't convince Lesley, Cam blackmailed Barbara Vining into confirming the baby story... Beth pulled up her stakes and left town to be a fashion model, but not before she warned Diana about Lesley and Peter. Audrey's self-confidence had returned, thanks to Steve. But Diana hadn't been as lucky. She was tense about seeing a psychiatrist... The Vinings disappeared [Cam sent them to Canada], and Lesley was determined to track them down... Cam ordered Miss Clifford to tell a new story, but then she collapsed with a heart attack. Jeff turned green during surgery... Rick admitted his longing for Monica... Leslie and Cam argued. She turned to Peter, who doesn't believe Miss Clifford's story, either... Cam tried another ploy: find Laura's father. Jeff and Rick rubbed it in that Rick is the odd man out and doesn't have Monica... Because of Cam's insinuations, Diana stormed in on Peter and Lesley and accused them. Diana canceled her psychiatry sessions. She told Lesley to make a quick exit from Peter's life. Peter consoled Lesley about her guilt feelings toward Cam. Lesley advised Monica on a new career as a surgeon. Monica fell into Rick's arms but they decided to hide their feelings for Jeff's sake. Diana confessed her fears to her mother. Audrey's getting a divorce from Jim. She and Steve admitted their love. Then he took a spill down a flight of stairs. Audrey discovered Steve unconscious at the bottom of a stairway. Mr. Waverly's story convinced Lesley. She accused Cam of treating her as a possession. Peter and Diana's reunion ended when he and Lesley were called on an emergency. Diana plotted with Cam. Monica grew jealous of Rick and Jeff's reconciliation.

Clay referred to the man in Nicole's dress as Billy, saying he'd heard Nicole say the name... Nicole consulted with Quentin about drug therapy... Tracy's being blackmailed to tell Van everything about Nicole... Nancy's depressed by Timmy's absence. Draper made a play for Brandy, but she said she's had it with romance. There was another attempt on Nicole's life, but she ran away. Doc Clay convinced Geraldine she could rise out of her wheelchair, but she can't walk yet. Nicole was found unconscious in the woods. Nancy got a job as a consumer reporter. Tracy spilled the beans about Van to Danny. Van was ready to leave town until he heard Nicole was recuperating. Neely fought with Phoebe. Brandy admitted the button Nancy found in Nicole's room was hers but she was 50 miles away at the time of Nicole's "accident." Geraldine offered to set Clay up in business, then was shattered to learn from Adam that Clay is a phony doctor. Clearing a mystery: Tiffany was wearing Nicole's raincoat that day she was "mistakenly" murdered.
