Ryan's Hope

Alicia's brother, Angel, was hospitalized and went into convulsions after Bobby accidentally hit him with a baseball. Jack agreed to surprise Mary by showing up at Ryan's christening, but Mary was devastated when he arrived with a date on his arm.  Alicia condemned Pat when she learned he performed the wrong operation on Angel. Seneca urged Jill that their marriage would be the best thing for Edmund. Christine, Jack's date at Ryan's christening, fumed when she learned Jack had used her as a pawn to convince Mary to divorce Jack.  Alicia insisted that Pat be removed from Angel's case and that Bucky handle it. While Tom grew friendlier with Mary, Jack turned his sexual attentions to old friend Martha. Dee connived to have Mary find Jack and Martha together.  Mary decided to give Jack the annulment after finding him and Martha together. Bucky, Faith, and Pat celebrated when Angel took a turn for the better. Tom consoled Mary.   Alicia planned to sue Pat after learning that Angel is half paralyzed. Mary dated Tom, who suggested she do a story about the hospital to counteract Jack's accusations.

All My Children

David learned that Christina's father died of a heart attack, not the scalpel wound she accidentally inflicted. Paul agreed to handle Ellen's divorce. Donna moved back to Center City with Estelle and the new pimp, Billy. Chuck admitted to Nancy he loves Donna. Phoebe planned to sue Charles for adultery. Danny felt guilty about planning an illicit weekend with Brooke. Kitty drew up a will.  Ellen's daughter Devon arrived. Billy Clyde gave Donna a job as a waitress and intercepted a call from Chuck searching for her. Kitty took a turn for the worse when she fainted and fell down a staircase. Outraged that Mona tended an ailing Mark, Erica decided he should learn the truth. David saved Christina from a suicide attempt, and her ghost disappeared when he told her the truth about her father's death.  Thanks to Benny's tip, Chuck found Donna in Center City. Chuck admitted his love, while helping Donna get through a hallucinating trip induced by Billy pumping her with drugs. Jeff accused David of taking advantage of Christina, after learning she planned to live with David. Devon admitted to Ellen that she hates Pine Valley. Tara tripped over little Phil's toys, and Phil blamed the child for Tara's injuries.  Nick terminated his relationship with Erica after she told Mark about being Mark's half-sister. Erica retaliated by deciding to keep her affair with Nick a secret. Brooke was jealous after Devon changed her mind about Pine Valley after meeting Danny. Kitty's condition deteriorated. Frank assured Caroline he loved her although Nancy accepted a job in town. Little Phil turned to Chuck after Phil argued with the child. Chuck proposed to Donna. Phoebe threatened Charles with a countersuit naming Mona as co-respondent.  Tara blamed Phil for spanking little Phil, who ran away, was kidnapped and held for ransom in a motel, where he was found by Tom Cudahy, a young man from the next room. Erica fielded heavy passes from Benny, while resisting Mark's suggestion they be friends. Donna tried to console Chuck during the kidnapping crisis, but a drunken Phoebe threw her out.

One Life to Live

Naomi told Will he'd regret it if he tried to get a separation. Brad confronted Will about Will's relationship with Jenny. Joe must go to New York for extensive tests.  Dorian pressured Joe not to tell Vicki he has brain damage and a possible tumor. Will packed his bags after rejecting Naomi's suggestion of a reconciliation.
In a ploy to win back Will, Naomi planned a suicide attempt, confident that Brad would find her in time; but she died before anyone reached her. Dorian sexually used Marco as a replacement for Joe.  Tony was involved in an accident and is in critical condition. Pat's husband Paul Kendall, who was presumed dead, has been working secretly for the government and was released from his assignment but didn't know how to re-enter Pat's life. Jenny learned of Naomi's death. Brad moved out of Will's house and turned to Lana for affection. Peter suspected that Joe is ill.  Victor Lord's nephew, Richard Abbott, began work with Pat at the newspaper. Pat was devastated when Paul showed up on her doorstep. Brian was overjoyed. Paul knows that Pat is engaged to Tony. Brad suggested to Dorian that Will be taken off the hospital staff.

General Hospital

She agreed to marry him, unaware that their son is in critical condition. Mark learned that Mary Ellen made a copy of her missing emerald ring, and that the original had been pawned by her chauffer, Lenny.  Specialist Keith Raymond was brought in to treat Heather's baby. Gina was shocked that Keith's associate is her ex-boyfriend, Gary Lansing. Mary Ellen skipped town just as Mary cornered Lenny about the missing ring.  Lenny revealed to Mark how Mary Ellen plotted to kill Terri, then tipped of Mary Ellen, who was visiting her father in Boston. Mark caught up with Mary Ellen before she could leave the country. Larry Joe confronted Heather about marrying Jeff, then suffered an apparent heart attack. Audrey decided to sue Tom for desertion. Jessie began dating Lt. C.W. Sgae. Diana enjoyed a brief afternoon with Mike, who was brought into the hospital with a broken arm.

Edge of Night

Draper considered resigning as assistant district attorney rather than having to prosecute Mike. Deborah worried that Steve knows what happened to her and Beau the night of Beau's death. Raven tried to seduce Kevin.  Steve learned that both Saxon and Deborah had a motive for killing Beau, because Beau raped Deborah the night of his death. Mike asked Draper to be his defending attorney after Draper left the D.A.'s office. April insisted on following Nicole to the Karrs' to convince her to return to the hospital.  April convinced Draper to handle Mike's defense. Raven turned her attentions to Mike's prosecutor, Logan. Steve and his partner, Calvin, were ordered to work on Adam's murder, not Beau's. Steve reconciled with Deborah.  Laurie told Tracy she can have J.D. to raise as her son. Nicole decided to go back to the nursing home. Steve found a book of matches in Adam's belongings with the word "packy" written on it and insisted it's a clue. Danny learned that Tracy is staying at Mrs. Yost's.  Denise needled Miles about Nicole's return and told Carol she has plans for Nicole. Deborah helped Steve learn that Packy is the nickname of a man named Eddie Packard. Danny, convinced that Tracy has returned to prostitution, started divorce proceedings. Draper helped April find an apartment near his.
