Ryan's Hope

Frank’s political career was smashed by Martha’s report.  Pat and Faith grew closer through their work.  Maeve twisted her back.  Little John moved in with Mary and Jack.  Roger told Jill he intends to marry Dee. Frank began divorce action and was caught in a clinch with Jill by Dee.  Roger’s plan for Dee to consult a lawyer backfired.  Anne Burney advised reconciliation.  Mary was stunned that Jack doesn’t want to have children. Mary and Jack had a spat in front of his old buddy, Dr. Alex McLean.  Bucky arranged for Seneca to serenade Jill, but she rendezvoused with Frank.  Dee connived Pat into being a witness to Frank’s infidelity. The found the lovebirds in bed at Jill’s beach house. On his way back from a business trip, Jack’s car crashed.  He is in critical condition.  Pat agreed to testify on Dee’s behalf.  Dee insisted Frank won’t win custody of little John. Alex supervised Jack’s operation.  Delia decided she’s going to remain a Ryan by getting one brother or another. She plotted to lure Pat by using Roger as bait.  Jill showed signs of being pregnant.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Although Cathy never received a doctor's confirmation, everyone believes she's pregnant. Matt and Dorian suspected something between Pat and Tony. Vinnie and Anna grew wary of Karen, who seduced Larry and rented a rendezvous apartment. Jenny gravitated toward Brad, who got a job at Tony's Place. Jim learned that Cathy never had a pregnancy test. Tony hit the roof. Sister Samantha's arrival caused an uproar in the Vernon household. Larry warned Karen not to expect a life of riches. Cathy refused to accept the fact that she's not pregnant. Vicki went into premature labor. Jim and Joe worried about the baby's irregular heartbeat. Brad turned to waitress, Lana McClain on the sly when Jenny chastised him for insincerity. Vicki and Joe named their healthy son Kevin Lord Riley. Dorian gave a party for Joe and his associates. GENERAL HOSPITAL

Rick moved into Lesley's new apartment building. Cam's estate amounted to zilch for Lesley. Mark accepted Steve's job offer and grew attracted to Terri. Heather set her sights on Jeff. Peter agreed with Diana to adopt a baby. Jeff uncovered evidence to help Monica in the malpractice suit. Heather told her ex-husband she'd set her sights on bigger game -- Rick. Tom Baldwin, presumed dead, turned up alive in a Mexican jail. Monica put Jeff off about having children and turned to Rick. Larry Joe, Heather's ex, threatened blackmail unless she steals hospital drugs. Peter and Diana went to Switzerland to adopt a baby. Heather found Rick's love letter to Monica and mailed it to Jeff. Monica consulted a divorce attorney. In Mexico, Tom Baldwin learned he can have a new trial. Jeff found Rick's letter, was convinced Monica sent it, and began popping pep pills. EDGE OF NIGHT

Adam recovered from the shooting. Ansel became Tony Saxon's new attorney, while Saxon's henchmen threatened Johnny. Van, disguised as a cop, knocked Steve unconscious and prepared to kill Nicole. Chris Neely found an apartment for Phoebe and Kevin in his building, but Kevin wasn't thrilled at having Neely for a neighbor. Nancy was spotted with a strange man. Van was shot before he could kill Nicole. At the hospital, Van whispered the word "Starkweather" to Steve. Later, Clay entered Van's room and shot him to death in cold blood. Adam was suspicious of Clay's claim that he did it in self-defense because Van tried to escape. Tracy confessed to Danny that she's unable to ever have children. Draper learned that he'll be working on the Saxon case against father Ansel. Nancy lashed out at Mike for playing the crusader and constantly putting their lives in danger, then she met with the mysterious Beau Richardson. Nicole began to remember pieces of the missing 40 days. Adam suggested that Nicole undergo another narcosynthesis session to regain her memory. Neely told Phoebe that he'd treat Nicole's memory loss. With Phoebe's assistance, Neely administered sodium pentathol to Nicole. Under sedation, Nicole remembered that she had been held prisoner on a secret Caribbean island by embezzler Claude Revenant and his manservant Billy. Nancy informed Kevin that the man he saw her kissing was an informant for a story she's writing. Van's deathbed clue was a false lead. Mike warned Tony Saxon to stop making threats against his family. Danny was repulsed to learn that Tracy can't have children because of too many past abortions. Nancy pleaded with Mike to resign from the Crime Commission. Draper asked Brandy to marry him. Nadine and Geraldine arranged a dinner party including the Scotts and the Jamisons.

While in San Francisco, Christina met her old beau, Hadley, whom her father had bribed to drop her years ago.  She told him she loves David now.  Erica stormed at Nick for trying to convince Tom not to hire her.  After a minor postponement, Chuck and Donna tied the knot.  After Phil left for a police seminar in Kentucky, Ruth and Joe found Tara unconscious following a fainting spell. Mona asked Charles to suspend their relationship so that Phoebe won’t have any more fuel for her divorce suit.  In Danny’s absence, Brooke got chummy with Tom.  Tara miscarried but decided not to tell Phil until he returned.  Chuck told Tara of his marriage to Donna, but neglected to tell her that little Phil is living with them.  Christina and David became engaged, but his ex-wife Edna decided to let him know she’s in financial trouble.  Harlan agreed to finance Ellen’s plans to purchase the boutique from Myrtle, who accepted a marriage proposal from Nigel.  Danny returned.  Edna came to Pine Valley with the story that she’s still married to David and that he’s the father of her daughter, Dottie.  Phil returned to discover that Tara miscarried, and in her delirium thinks she’s still married to Chuck.  Phil blamed Chuck and vowed to drag Donna’s name through the mud in a custody case.  Devon gave Ellen and Mark the cold shoulder after spotting them getting cuddly.  Little Phil pulled his brat act on Donna.  Frank and Nancy worked on the case of Roberta, a welfare child who suffered from malnutrition.  Paul visited Anne who has regressed to childhood. Phil was unaware that Tara had a relapse until she was near death.  Phil confronted Donna with his custody intentions.  Tara’s on the recovery path.  Edna and Dottie moved into David’s cabin.  Christina apologized to Jeff for accusing him of leading Edna there.  Erica insisted to Tom that there’s nothing between her and Nick.  Ellen gave in to Devon’s ultimatum to call it quits with Mark or Devon would join her father.  David returned and assured Christina that Edna’s claims are cheap ploys.  He ordered Edna out, but she made the excuse that Dottie is ill.  Donna fretted that Chuck still loves Tara.  After Danny’s attentions to Devon, Brooke dated Benny.  Erica ruined Frank’s celebration of Caroline’s return by bringing Nancy into the picture.
