All My Children

by Jon-Michael Reed

After Chris was released, she married Jeff in a private ceremony, which miffed some of the family who weren’t invited.  Devon pretended to be unhurt after learning about Brooke and Danny and invited her Yale friend Wally to visit.  Ray’s parental rights to Tad were taken away and Joe and Ruth finalized adoption plans with Paul.  Charlie (Little Phil) pitted Phil against Chuck by stealing Mona’s hub caps then pleading with Tara not to tell Phil.  It was touch and go for Nancy’s pregnancy.  She experienced pain after a fight with Caroline, who thinks Nancy is using her illness to snare Frank. Eddie pressured Claudette to promote Kelly’s act at the Chateau. Phil investigated a car fire that Sammy set, and found Charlie’s watch near the car.  Erica criticized Paul for seeing Ellen in public, and said she was concerned for Mark.  Edna recognized Kelly as a one-time coworker when Kelly made a plea for her mother’s whereabouts on television.  Donna set up a blind date between Benny and Estelle.  Devon considered going to St. Louis with Wally in order to visit her father.  Myrtle decided to remain in Pine Valley, much to the disappointment of Phoebe and Claudette.  Tom showed an interest in hiring Kelly to sing at the Goal Post.  Eddie went behind Claudette’s back and arranged for Kelly’s singing engagement to be extended, then he was hospitalized.  Maggie was hit by a car and is critical after Billy Clyde refused to escort her safely across the street.  Sammy told Phil that Charlie was responsible for the theft and car fire.  Devon arranged to turn her St. Louis trip with Wally into an overnight motel stop.  Ellen agreed that she wouldn’t keep her meetings with Paul a secret from Mark.  Kelly ordered Myrtle to stop interfering in her life.  On her deathbed, Maggie told Estelle where to find the $20,000 Maggie left her.  But Billy had bugged the conversation and rushed to retrieve the loot.  Phil filed a police report about Charlie and Sammy despite Tara’s threats that their marriage would be kaput if he did.  Eddie refused to have a gall bladder operation.  Erica began instruction in Catholicism as another ploy to latch onto Tom.  Edna was attracted to Benny.  Devon got cold feet when it came time to spend a night at a motel with Wally.  Phil moved in with Mel, while Chuck took to drink over the Brent situation.

General Hospital

by Jon-Michael Reed

The police found Lesley’s confession to David’s murder inconsistent with the physical evidence. Laura can’t remember the murder details and Les ordered her to forget she was even there.  To relieve Lamont’s state of relapse, Katy assured him she’d remain his wife. Scotty convinced Gail to lend a helping hand to alcoholic Lee.  Mark discovered that Dan had made the secret deposits to Mark’s account.  Mark cornered Dan and learned about Lamont’s frameup.  Lesley discouraged Laura from remembering the details of David’s death, while Scotty fretted over Laura’s erratic behavior.  Darren announced that he is leaving town.  Lamont ordered Dan to get on Cates’ tail after learning that his company is failing.  District Atty. Richardson and Lt. Ramsey had Lesley re-enact the death of David.  Her insistence that he was drunk didn’t hold water because the autopsy report showed no alcohol.  Lee refused Gail’s offers to help his alcoholism. Laura arrived at Barbara Vining’s while Lt. Ramsey suggested Laura be questioned about David’s death.  Diana didn’t feel that her mother, Mrs. Maynard, was qualified to care for P.J.  Mark got Katy’s New York address after learning Lamont already had gotten her to leave Port Charles.  Dan prepared to leave for an assignment in Germany.  Scotty confessed Lee’s drinking problem to Bobbie, who admitted her father also was an alcoholic.  Susan set her sights on Peter.  Cates was arrested for the stock manipulation.  Rick returned with Laura and Cates told the police he had seen Laura with David several times.  Monica and Alan made final wedding plans as his mother, Lila, and sister, Tracy, arrived.  Mark and Katy reconciled but delayed telling Lamont.  Gail helped Lee with his drinking problem.  Heather advised Susan to stop flirting with Peter.  D.A. Richardson assembled a grand jury and recommended that Lesley be charged with premeditated murder.  Tracy questioned Monica’s suitability as a mate for Alan.  Lamont threw in the towel and gave Mark and Katy his reluctant blessings.  They left on a “love” vacation.  Dan gave Lamont his resignation.  Peter began sessions with Laura, but reminded Lesley that his sessions are confidential, even to her.

All My Children

Langley “conquered” Phoebe by pretending to be a distinguished professor.  But, he cased her digs on the sly.  Estelle broke off with Benny because of Billy Clyde.  Nancy told Frank she wouldn’t marry him but he’s free to visit their son.  Benny turned to Edna who suddenly didn’t want to be second choice although she had no choice since Langley avoided her like the plague.  Donna went into labor before Chuck could tell her that the baby will be stillborn.  Phoebe arranged a society party for Palmer and his daughter Nina.  Dan moved out of town.  Chuck couldn’t console Donna after their baby was still-born.  Myrtle tended Kelly after she returned to her pill habit and caused a scene in public.  Cliff told Betsy that he’s only friends with Sybil, who has other thoughts on the matter.  Edna and Benny became chummy again after she learned that Langley had dropped her to concentrate on Phoebe.  Joe was concerned for Ruth’s health when she went to Washington to tend Phil and Charlie while Tara is ailing.  Erica put up a fuss to Father Tierney when the commercial date conflicted with her promised marriage encounter session.  Devon dissuaded Wally from selling stocks to pay household expenses.  Nina, who’s uncomfortably attached to her father Palmer and hasn’t had any beaus, underwent successful surgery under Cliff’s capable and caring hands.  Ellen refused to sanction Brooke and Mark’s relationship, but Brooke teased about Ellen growing attached to Paul. Wally earned loot by working at Ellen’s shop and at the Chateau.  Father Tierney convinced Tom to kowtow to Erica’s wishes concerning the commercial.  Kelly was upset when Linc kissed her and insisted he’s not confusing her with Kitty.  Mark and Brooke’s beach romp was interrupted when she learned her mother was ill.  Erica persuaded Tom to redecorate the Chateau, but he fumed that she plotted to turn his commercial into a sexy come-on featuring her.  Myrtle insisted she won’t stop helping Kelly fight her pill habit, and taunted Kelly, saying Linc was tempted by a former love, Cynthia Ewing.  Cliff suggested he’d like to see Nina once she’s released.  But Sybil turned off Cliff by lying about his being a Romeo.  Phoebe consented to help Donna become sophisticated after Chuck threatened to leave town.  Russ thought that he’d lost Nancy when Frank became insistent that they remarry.

One Life To Live

by Jon-Michael Reed

Jenny refused to have an abortion even though she may lose her own life.  Dick wasn’t shot.  Pat talked him into submission and he was arrested.  Adam asked Pat to marry him, then left for a Washington trip that Dorian engineered to seduce him.  Gretel cramped Dorian’s style.  Peter was attentive to Jenny while Brad returned to his gambling addiction.  Katrina goaded Greg about Talbot, which made Greg lash out at Tina for not helping him with his drug problem.  Edwina urged Paul to fight for Pat’s affections.  Joe hired Greg.  Viki avoided allowing Herb into her good graces.  Tony broke off with Samantha.  Carla went to get a Caribbean divorce from Ed, while Jack confided to Adam that he has no intention of marrying her.  After saving Jenny’s life, Mario was made a staff member by Larry, much to Ivan’s consternation.  Peter was upset that Dorian and Adam are dealing with revolutionaries in San Carlos.  While questioning whether something happened between Adam and Dorian, Pat learned that her father died.  Joe assigned Paul to cover the San Carlos revolution.  Ed agreed to run as Herb’s lieutenant governor in Herb’s governorship campaign.  Mario flared up believing Will intimated to Tina that Mario is actually Marco.  Karen went barhopping and considered returning to her former ways.  Gretel resigned because Adam is secretly dealing with the corrupt San Carlos government, while Paul departed to cover the revolt.  Gretel fought off Brad’s sexual advances.  Dorian took it on the chin after learning that Pat and Adam set a wedding date.  Ed dated coworker Delores.  Carla told Jack she didn’t get a divorce just to marry him.  Karen overcame her prostitution temptations, and Viki loaned her money to return to school.  Karen counseled Katrina, who’s pregnant but doesn’t know who the father is.  Paul was questioned by the police after he arrived in San Carlos.  Paul was nabbed by the San Carlos police.  Dorian raged that Adam was supplying the country with guns.  She and Peter departed to check on Paul.  Brad staged a burglary at his apartment to conceal that he had hocked Jenny’s pearls for gambling debts.  Jenny wanted to use the pearls to help Samantha finance the purchase of Marco’s health club.  Ivan forced Faith to wear sexy nighties for kinky pleasure.  Brad railed at Karen for turning his house into a pad for hookers while she helped Katrina fight her “urges”.  Adam hired Brad as Gretel’s replacement, and Brad caught on quickly that Adam was involved in Paul’s detention.  Tina and Mario dated on the sly.

Edge of Night

by Jon-Michael Reed

Cliff tried to get romantic with Deborah since she broke up with Steve.  Paige took an interest in Draper.  Winter made up a story that she saw a stranger lurking and he may be the man who threatened Nicole via hate mail.  Joey bought a gun but failed to rob a stranger. Winter trapped Nicole in the TV studio and confessed she had killed Wade and Tank.  Sarah was jealous that Elliot ignored her and showed an interest in Raven.  April was thrilled that Draper accepted Paige’s case while Cliff learned he’d be the prosecutor.  Steve came to Nicole’s rescue.  Paige was disturbed when her half-brother Brian arrived.  Winter tumbled while threatening Nicole and later died.  Steve chased robber Joey and shot him when Joey pulled a gun, which turned out to be a toy.  Margo got fed up with being ignored by Elliot, who continued to romp with Sarah.  He daydreamed about Raven, who was intrigued by his come-ons.  The Madisons were stunned when mother Nola arrived unexpectedly after checking herself out of a “drying out” spa.  Paige agreed to turn state’s evidence if Brian would stick around.  Brian feared that her testimony would put her life in jeopardy with the rest of the gang. Flattery got Elliott everything he wanted from a willing Raven.  Sarah learned about it, and threatened to tell Margo unless Elliott visited Sarah’s bedroom as well.  Steve quit the police force and became a cab driver.
