Nancy and Carl postponed their marriage and Frank insisted that the baby have a blood test when it is born to prove parentage. Benny promised to keep mum and not tell that Phoebe can walk. Ellen invited Paul to dinner in Mark's absence. Danny (Kennicot)succumbed to Brooke's charms. Phil searched for Ray Gardner while Ruth reacted miserably to the rape.
ONE LIFE TO LIVE: Brad made a pass at Will’s new associate, Pam Sheperd, while snapping at Jenny at every turn. Becky and Richard were jailed following a brawl with Marco, who’d broken into Becky’s room. Dorian was crushed to learn that Peter's interested in Melinda. Vinnie was shocked to learn that Wanda did a bra commercial. Karen was beaten to a pulp by another pickup. Dorian refused to give Marco money for locating Lvnn, who kept her job with Tony. Ina received another boarder, Alice Lovelace. Carla and Ed argued about his refusal to run for city council.
GENERAL HOSPITAL: David fantasized taking Les away from Rick. Maria and her lawyer Herbert Berman arrived for a legal battle with Gail. Heather cracked when the Taylors informed her they hired another baby sitter. Les ordered Monica to stay out of Laura's life or Les would report the pill incident to Steve. Monica and Alan argued about Les and she said she’s splitting before he throws her out. Lamont’s condition improved. Gail encouraged Scotty not to give up on Laura.
EDGE OF NIGHT: April's surgery will occur sooner than expected. Logan warned Draper that Raven is getting chummy with April in order to keep tabs on Draper. Nancy was offered a job as a news anchor for WMON-TV. Saxon was suspected of pulling the strings behind the crime commission. Before the operation, Denise threatened April, vowing to kill her if she ever mentions Denise's possible involvement in Katrhyn Dane's death. Under
anesthesia, April mumbled Dane's name. Raven fumed when Kevin insisted on publishing anti-crime commission statements, which might ruin his political career. Raney anonymously tipped off Steve about Saxon's secret bank accounts. Deborah ordered Steve to stop badgering her father. April's operation was a success. She told Draper that she wasn't dreaming about Kathryn Dane's death or Denise's involvement in the crime. Deborah broke up with Steve, who dated Maggie. Raney professed his love to Deborah and hired a thug named Chip Beemer. Raven convinced Kevin to cancel his crime commission report. Nancy turned down the tv news offer, but recommended Nicole for the position. Miles fell into Nicole's arms. Denise spotted Miles kissing Nicole after she got the job at WMON. Draper assured April that he didn't propose to her out of pity. April and Draper set an April wedding date. Charlie refused to be bought off by Denise. Denise vowed to keep Charlie quiet at all costs. April’s operation was a success. She told Draper she wasn’t dreaming about Denise and Kathryn Dane’s death. Deborah split with Steve who dated Maggie, leaving Logan in the lurch. Raney confessed his love to Deborah. He hired a thug named Chip. Raven convinced Kevin to cancel his crime commission report.
